It was snowing and all the guests were staying in a cabin and my husband and I rented a lodge room. And T was caught making out with someone she hasn't gotten her claws into before. R left right after the ceremony even though it was super dangerous because it was a little late and it was snowing, so that's why all our guests (25 of them) stayed in a cabin. He did and we are still friends to this day. I even told the guy T was fighting with to tone it down. I sat them both down and told them to suck it up for one day and help me have a fun day. But I feel like my wedding day is the day I get to be shameless of wanting to be the center of attention.īoth of them have gotten into relationships/ situationships with some of my guy friends as well as my husband's friends.Īt some point R was crying and, T was picking a fight with one of the guys she had a situationship with (and he was in the wrong too) I'm normally a very good team player and don't mind being the occasional wallflower. I lost 2 friends (T and R) because they made my wedding day all about them and taking attention away from me and my husband. How would y'all deal with this? For me, it's the principle of a company accusing me of lying when I didn't receive the services because the "algorithm" probably saw that I had 3 orders with missing items over the past 15 months and it tries to detect future behavior with refunds. FYI, even though the driver didn't respond and dropped it off at the wrong place, I didn't take away his 20% tip for everyone that's a driver here. Question is, do I dispute it to my bank? The services weren't rendered and I had to drive out to get another pizza. I guess what's more troubling about it is the truth is I didn't get my order and they don't give a damn. Again, Uber tells me they are unable to authorize refunds because their system isn't allowing it. I check the GPS and it shows it was delivered in a different apartment building. They tell me the order was delivered and I'm getting no refund. I then called uber and they said they were too busy and had too many calls so I used support chat. I went outside and didn't see it, and called him up to find out where he placed it or what building he was in so I could go get it. He sent a photo of the Pizza on the ground by a door, but it wasn't by my rug. Yesterday I ordered some pizza, and the driver never buzzed in and didn't pick up the calls. Most of the time I'm okay meeting drivers downstairs to get the food when I order. Let me just say that I tip well, and I live in an apartment complex. FYI, I drove Ubereats in the past, so I'm well aware of the perspective from all angles, not just from a consumer basis.
